Valentine’s Day will be here before you know it. Why not give your sweetie something quite different, but equally delicious as the standard box of candy. These beautiful cookies are sure to melt anyone’s heart. All of these cookies are made with our favorite cookie dough recipe found here.
Use the Message Heart Cookie Cutter and Stamp Set to cut the cookie dough. For a handmade look place message on cookie and emboss dough. For a more polished look attach message to the back of the cutter using the pegs, and emboss dough (shown later with fondant).
Mix white fondant with peach color until desired color is reached. Cut out heart from peach fondant. Attach to cookie with piping gel. Emboss fondant with words from cutter set.
Use hi ratio shortening to lightly line the silicone mold to ensure easy release. Make roses out of black fondant. Make sure it place fondant firmly in mold and using a sharp edge or fingers remove excess.
Paint a small amount of piping gel to the fondant and place rose.
Make rose gold paint from dust and small amount of clear alcohol. Paint the edges of the roses and the indented letters.
Mix white fondant with peach color until desired color is reached. Cut out heart from peach fondant. Roll out black fondant. Emboss with texture mat. Cut out black heart. Let both hearts crust slightly.
Dust top of peach heart with corn starch. Lay black heart on top. Use sharp blade to cut strip out of both layers.
Attach pieces to cookie with piping gel.
Use words from set to emboss peach fondant.
Use hi ratio shortening to lightly line the silicone mold to ensure easy release. Roll out peach fondant and place in stud mold. Make sure it place fondant firmly in mold and using a sharp edge or fingers remove excess. Attach strips to cookie with piping gel. Use a sharp edge to cut the overlapping edges.
Use rose gold to paint words and and studs.
Color marshmallow cream with purple food color. Put into piping bag fit with a #1 tip. Pipe outline around entire cookie. Thin remaining marshmallow cream with small amount of water. Put into piping bag fit with a #1.5 tip. Fill in entire cookie. Let set overnight. Take words from cookie set and dust with powdered sugar. Press into marshmallow covered cookie. Thin white royal icing and put into pastry bag fit with #1.5 tip. Fill in indented words.
